The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for managing core finance processes including liquidity monitoring, accounting entries, reconciliations, and payroll support. The role involves preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, compliance reports, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and reporting packs for subcommittees and the Board. It also covers regulatory reporting to the Bank of Mauritius, FSC, and other authorities, as well as tax filings with the MRA. The accountant liaises with auditors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions. Additionally, the position contributes to team training, process improvements, and supports management with analytical reviews and strategic financial insights.
